India 177-2 (25 ovs) vs Sri Lanka 262-9 | Scorecard

The experienced duo of Dhawan and Pandey not taking any risks as they milk the bowlers for singles and take India closer.

Hasaranga is easily picked for five singles in the 21st over with India looking in complete control of the proceedings.

Medium pacer Chamika Karunaratne comes back into the attack but India continue their cruise with five easy singles from the over.

Hasaranga bowling in a good channel just outside the off-stump as Pandey looks to play with caution and look to get a single but he is unable to get it into the gap.

Pandey plays out six dot balls in a row for the first maiden over for Sri Lanka in the match.

The scoring rate has dropped a bit in the last few overs since the dismissal of Kishan.

Dhawan breaks the shackles as he cuts a wide delivery from Karunaratne past point for a four. He gets an inside edge off the next as the ball bounces over the wicketkeeper and goes for another boundary.

Dhawan then pulls the last ball for a single to take his score to 49.

He completes his half-century from 61 balls in the next over with a single off Hasaranga. A responsible knock from the India captain as he played maturely at the start when Shaw and Kishan went on the attack.

Pandey struggles to get going as he plays another dot ball before he finally manages to pick up a single to long-off.

Dhawan keeps strike with a single from the last ball as India reach 177/2 in 25 overs, needing another 86 runs from 25 overs for victory.
