Kuldeep has a huge appeal next ball for leg before wicket against Rajapaksa turned before the spinner convinces his captain to take the review.

Rajapaksa, on 22, is saved by the narrowest of margins as the decision stays with umpire's call with the impact just outside the line. That ball hit him on the boots and was going to crash into the stumps but the point of impact saved him.

Rajapaksa plays the next ball uppishly as he manages to clear the fielder at cover for a single.

Sri Lanka reach 82/1 in 15 overs at the first drinks break, with Bhanuka on 21 and Rajapaksa on 23.

Another change in the bowling as India bring in their third spinner, in Krunal Pandya.

Rajapaksa flicks the first ball for a single and Bhanuka gets a thick outside edge for a couple as captain Dhawan misfields.

Kuldeep finally gets his man Rajapaksa. He miscues the heave shot and Dhawan takes a good running catch on the leg side as the left-hander walks back after a sparkling innings of 24 from 22 balls.

Bhanuka is nearly done in next ball as he fails to read the googly and gets an inside edge.

Kuldeep follows it up with a full toss which is easily despatched through midwicket for a four by Bhanuka.

Kuldeep strikes with the second wicket of the over as Bhanuka goes for the drive but gets the edge and is caught at slip for 27. That ball turned sharply as Bhanuka didn't get to the pitch of the ball but still went for the drive only to get the edge.

Charith Asalanka and Dhananjaya de Silva get off the mark with singles off the next two balls.
