Suryakumar, Kishan make their ODI debuts

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka has won the toss and elected to bat against India in the first ODI in Colombo.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan will be making their ODI debuts.

Shikhar Dhawan, captaining India for the first time, says he would have also batted if he had won the toss.

Dhawan confirms that he will open the batting with the young Prithvi Shaw, while Kuldeep Yadav makes his comeback in the Indian team as he is paired along with Yuzvendra Chahal.

Sri Lanka have Bhanuka Rajapaska making his debut.
