WI 55  (14.2 ovs) vs Eng | Scorecard

Defending champs West Indies have gotten off to a horror start in their title defense as they have been totally outplayed by England in their T20 World Cup Super 12 match in Dubai on Saturday.

Moeen Ali started the rot for the wickets, picking two wickets in the Powerplay before Mills picked up another two in the middle and Rashid finished it off taking out Pollard, McCoy and Rampaul as the Windies were dismissed for 55 in 14.2 overs.

Rashid continues and after a dot, Rampaul goes for the slog, fails to connect and is bowled all ends up.  Rampaul is out for 3 and that is that for the West Indies.

Mills continues and Rampaul starts the over with a single to third man.

Hossein then cuts the ball to square on the off side for a couple.

A dot later, Hossein gets a single to the on side.

Rampaul is then beaten on the outside edge.

A single to end the over as 5 runs come off it.

Rampaul is the new man in and after two dots, he gets off the mark with a single.

A dot to end the over as 1 run and 2 wickets come off it.

Obed McCoy is the new man in and he returns to the dugout just as soon as he tries to clear the mid-wicket but only manages to find Jason Roy, who completes the catch and the batsman is out for a golden duck.

There is just no semblance of a revival coming from Pollard and his boys as the Windies captain is next to go.

Rashid continues and again he gets a wicket off the first ball of the over as Pollard smashes the ball flat and right into the hands of the fielder posted at long-on.

Pollard is out for 6.

Mills back in the attack and Hossein starts the over with a single to the leg side. Pollard turns down the 2nd.

Pollard and Hossein then take a single each before Pollard flicks the ball to mid-wicket for another single.

Two dots to end the over.

Left handed batter Akeal Hossein is the new man in and he plays the first four balls watchfully before taking a single to long off off the last ball of the over as just the one comes off it.
Leggie Adil Rashid is brought into the attack now and he goes right through the gate as Russell is bowled all ends up. A straight ball, Russell plays for the turn only to be bowled all ends up for a duck.
