Debutant left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi comes into the attack. With the field spread around, Iyer and Pant happy to milk the spinner for six easy singles in his first over.
Spin from both ends as leg-spinner Rahul Tewatia comes into the attack. Iyer takes a single to long-on off the first ball before Pant smashes a short ball over the top but only for one to deep point.
Three more singles as Tewatia gives away just five runs in his first over.
Shamsi starts his second over with a short ball which Iyer pulls to deep square leg for a couple of runs.
Iyer takes a single to deep square leg to bring up Delhi's 50, in the ninth over.
Pant sweeps the spinner along the ground behind square on the leg side for just the fourth boundary of Delhi's innings.
Pant punches a short ball to sweeper cover before Iyer fails to read the googly as he pushes it uppishly through the off-side for one.
