Ind 192-0 (30.5 ovs) vs Zim 189 (40.3 ovs)  Scorecard

India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets to win the 1st ODI in Harare. They win with more than 19 overs to spare.

Openers Dhawan and Gill scored a half-centuries to help India to a clinical victory to take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series.

This is India's 9th win in the last 10 ODIs.

Earlier, Deepak Chahar bowled an incisive opening spell as Indian bowlers dominated proceedings to bowl out Zimbabwe for a sub-par 189.

Chahar, who bowled unchanged for seven overs with first spell figures of 3/27, was well supported by Mohammed Siraj (1/36), who worked up brisk pace while bowling the ideal 'Test match length'.

Prasidh Krishna (3/50) and Axar Patel (3/24) also got their share of middle and lower-order victims while Kuldeep Yadav (0/36) was restrictive despite going wicket-less.

Evans back in the attack and a dot later, he bowls a wide.

Dhawan then takes a single to the leg side.

A dot later, Gill clips the ball to the leg side for a single.

Dhawan then pulls the ball to backward square leg to bring up the winning runs as India win by 10 wickets.

Raza continues and he gives 5 in the over as Dhawan smashes a four through mid-wicket to inch close to victory.

Nragava continues and Dhawan and Gill smash 15 runs in the over. The wides don't do the hosts any favours.

Gill is now on the attack as he smokes Madhevere for a four and six.

He then goes after Nragava and Raza as the runs flow quickly.
