Captain brings himself on at the other end and after a wide, Stirling smashes the ball over cover point for a four.

Stirling then goes again but this time ball was fuller and all he does is holes out to mid-off. He is out for 4. Ireland lose wicket no 2.

Gareth Delany is the new man in and he gets hit on the pads in front of the stumps first ball and the Indians take the review after the umpire plays down the appeal. India lose the review as it shows the ball was missing stumps. Just 2 runs and a wicket come in the over.

Andrew Balbernie and Stirling to open the batting for Ireland while vice-captain Bhuvneshwar will open the bowling for India in this rain-delayed match.

And Stirling plays the ball to the leg side and the batters nearly get in trouble as Balbernie survives a run-out.

A dot later, a hint of swing for Bhuvi and Stirling tries to go after it but gets a legbye for a single.

An outswinger next up and that is a dot before Bhuvi gets one to come in a tad, Balbernie is bowled as the ball hits the top of his off stump. Balbernie out for a duck.
