India 160-4 (33 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Iyer, on 11, gets a lifeline as he tries to ramp Milne and gets the edge but wicketkeeper Tom Latham puts down the catch, as he leaps high to take it one-handed but fails to hold on.

After four dots in a row, Iyer keeps strike with a single from the last ball, with Milne giving away just two runs in his sixth over.

Spinner Santner comes back into the attack. Iyer hits the second ball to long-off for a single and Pant clips the fourth ball off his pads for another run.

Iyer cuts the fifth ball square on the off-side for two runs and pulls the last ball for two more runs as India go past the 150-run mark, in the 32nd over.

Ferguson is back into the attack. The first ball is a freebie, full and down the pads, as Pant helps it fine on the leg side for a four -- the first boundary after seven overs.

However, Ferguson strikes off the next ball as Pant drags it back on to his stumps to be bowled for 15.

Suryakumar Yadav walks out to a loud cheer from the Indian fans in the stadium.

He gives them more reasons to cheer as he plays a beautiful drive through the covers off the first ball he faces, to get off the mark with a four.

However, Ferguson gets revenge two balls later. Suryakumar pushes away from his body as the ball moves away enough to take the edge, which is taken by Allen, standing on the edge of the circle at slip.

Suryakumar walks back for four as Ferguson's double strike reduces India to 160/4 in the 33rd over.

Sanju Samson watchfully keeps out the last ball of the over.
