With the win, Team India took an unassailable lead 2-0 over South Africa. For South Africa, Miller slammed an unbeaten 106 in 47 balls while Quinton de Kock played a knock of not out 69 off 48. 

For India Arshdeep Singh bagged two wickets while Axar Patel settled for one wicket.Defending the target of 238, India's Arshdeep Singh dented South Africa's chase by bagging the wickets of Temba Bavuma and Rilee Rossouw in one over.

Arshdeep starts with no ball, SA will get two. Single for De Kock. Miller hammers it over midwicket for six runs! Ashwin continues, Miller sends it to deep midwicket for a single. De Kock reverse sweeps for a quick single. Miller hammers a huge six over long on! Next is called wide. Miller is beaten. Ashwin is back, De Kock flicks it for a single. Wide called. Miller nudges it to square for a single. De Kock sends it back to the bowler. De Kock flicks it and lands just a little ahead of Chahar. Arshdeep comes to bowl the last over of the powerplay, Markram sends it back to the bowler, won't get any runs. Flicks it for a quick single. The ongoing series was originally planned as the final tune-up for Rahul Dravid's team but Jasprit Bumrah's absence from the remaining two T20Is has now thrown more questions than answers.

Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Siraj have been added to the squad as injury replacements but they do not figure in the World Cup-bound squad, as of now.The burning question is, will the two remaining T20Is give the team management scope to test Bumrah's replacement.

Boasting the likes of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje, the South African bowling lacked the sting after the duo dismissed Rohit and Kohli cheaply.

Bavuma would hope that they put up a much-improved show and also the toss of the coin comes in his favour so as to test the Indian batting up front.
