Gill out for 3; India lose early wkt

Captain Shikhar Dhawan walks out to open with Shubman Gill with India needing a good start in the Powerplay against a strong South African bowling attack.
Kagiso Rabada starts off with the ball for the Proteas. Dhawan taps the first ball on the leg side for a single to get off the mark and Gill picks one off the next for his first run of the game.
Dhawan nudges the fourth ball for another run to square leg and Gill plays a nice drive through the covers for a couple of runs before he keeps out the last ball, as five come from the first over.
Left-arm pacer Wayne Parnell from the other end. He starts with a wide down the leg side to Dhawan, who is then beaten chasing a wide delivery and is then struck on the body as Parnell gets some extra bounce.
Parnell bowls a short wide delivery which Dhawan punches through the gap in the covers for two runs and he keeps out the last two balls.
Rabada starts his second over with a wide full delivery which Gill drives to straight to the fielder and keeps out the next.
Rabada gets the early wicket for South Africa as Gill goes for the drive but gets an inside edge which goes back on to his stumps to be bowled for three.
A huge opportunity for Ruturaj Gaikwad as he walks in at No 3. He leaves the first ball he faces before digging out a quick yorker.
A wicket maiden for Rabada as South Africa pile on the early pressure.
