Samson also decides attack is the best way to defend. He comes down the track and launches Shamsi over midwicket for a six to get off the mark in some style.

Parnell, who took 1/11 in four overs in his first spell, is back into the attack. Iyer punches the first ball in the gap through the covers for three runs as the fielder puts in the dive at sweeper cover to save the boundary.

Samson inside edges the next on to his pads before he offers no shot to the next.

Another leave which is way off the mark and is ruled a wide before Samson plays a nice drive through the covers for a single.
