India win toss, elect to bowl vs South Africa

India captain Shikhar Dhawan has won the toss and elected to bowl against South Africa in the first ODI in Lucknow.

The start of the match was delayed by a couple of hours because of rain.

"There is some moisture in the pitch and we want to make use of that," says Dhawan at the toss.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravi Bishnoi will be making their ODI debuts for India.

Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill and Sanju Samson are part of a strong batting line-up for the hosts.

India have gone in for three pacers in Mohammed Siraj, Avesh Khan and Shardul Thakur.
