Lucknow Super Giants beat Delhi Capitals by 50 runs in Indian Premier League match in Lucnknow on Saturday.
Chasing 194 for victory, DC lost their way after Wood's double strike early in the innings didn't allow the batters to get back into the game. Wood finally finished with a fifer.
Earlier, Mayers helped LSG make 193 after scoring his maiden IPL fifty.
Mukesh is the new man in and he plays out a dot. DC make 143 for 9 and LSG win by 50 runs.

Lucknow Super Giants put on 193 for 6 against Delhi Capitals in Lucknow on Saturday.
West Indies opener Kyle Mayers had a brilliant IPL debut as his 73 off 38 balls propelled Lucknow Super Giants to a solid 193 for six against Delhi Capitals in an IPL match, in Lucknow on Saturday.
Mayers, who is playing in place of Quinton de Kock, who is currently on national duty, smashed seven sixes apart from a couple of boundaries while adding 79 runs with Deepak Hooda (17).
Nicholas Pooran, a Rs 16 crore recruit, scored a quickfire 36 off 21 balls as Axar Patel (1/38) and Kuldeep Yadav (1/35) got some turn off the surface. Khaleel Ahmed was the most successful bowler with figures of 2 for 30.
LSG now use the impact player rule as KS Gowtham comes out to bat.
And he ends the over with a massive six over long-on to end the over and the innings on a high. 22 runs and a wicket come off it.
Sakariya is brought back in the attack to finish off the innings.
And DC have used the Impact Player rule as Aman Khan is brought in for Khaleel Ahmed.

LSG, who will be playing at home for the first time, is an equally beleaguered outfit if not more, with skipper KL Rahul going through the toughest phase of his career and has been on a downward spiral for quite some time now.

So when DC begins their journey on Saturday evening at the Ekana Stadium, it will be an Australian, who will hold the key to the kind of start that the franchise expects.
But how LSG's tournament pans out will depend on how the Indian trio of Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda perform as Rs 16 crore investment Nicholas Pooran is known to blow hot and cold on numerous occasions.
For Rahul, it will no just be about volume of runs scored but also about the kind of intent he is showing along with the consistency in strike-rate, where it is not just about making up for lost deliveries towards business end of the innings.

Plagued by injuries and unavailability of a few foreign players, both Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders would still look to put their best foot forward as they lock horns in their opening IPL encounter in Mohali on Saturday.
Both teams will be led by new skippers this season. While veteran Shikhar Dhawan will be at the helm of Punjab, domestic star Nitish Rana has replaced injured Shreyas Iyer as KKR captain.
On paper, though, PBKS looks a tad more stronger than KKR. But Englishman Jonny Bairstow's absence will certainly leave a big void in Punjab's team composition.
