NZ 176-6 (20 ovs) vs Ind | Scorecard

New Zealand make 176 for 6 in the first T20I against India in Ranchi on Friday.

After getting off to a flyer, New Zealand were looking to dominate the Powerplay overs before Sundar's double strike sent back Allen and Chapman.

New Zealand's recovery was slow and they looked like putting on a below par score on the board before Mitchell hammered Arshdeep 27 runs in the final over to tilt the match a little in favour of the Kiwis.

Sodhi is the new man in while Arshdeep continues and he starts with a no ball that Mitchell whacks for a six over long on. Mitchell follows that up with two more sixes one over square leg and one over long on to get to his 50.

He then hits a four square of the wicket on the off side before taking two singles off the last two balls of the over. 27 come off the last over as New Zealand get to 176.

Mavi back in the attack and Santner and Mitchell take the singles before Santner pulls the ball for a four. Two singles later, Santner attempts the pull again, and is caught in the deep. He is out for 7.
