Shami gets some swing with the new red ball as Smith defends with utmost caution and blocks the next with a straight bat and does the same next ball.

The last ball is left alone as Shami starts his new spell with a maiden over.

Siraj bowls a beauty, getting the ball to swing away and Head pushing away from his body is beaten. He drives the next into the off-side for a single and Smith keeps out the next two before he plays a beautiful cover drive for a four to take his score into the 90s.
