India 39-3 (10 ovs) vs Aus 188 | Scorecard

Gill steers Abbott to thirdman for a single and Rohit defends the next on the off-side. He gets a thick outside edge off the fourth ball but it falls well short of the second slip fielder.

The last ball swings away late as Rahul pokes and is beaten with Abbott bowling a good over.

Starc's incoming delivery has caused quite a few problems for the Indian batters. Gill watchfully defends against Starc, keeping out the balls on the line of the stumps while leaving the ones bowled wide.

He does play away from his body looking to push Starc through the off-side but gets a thick outside edge which goes through the vacant third slip region for a four to release some pressure.

Gill plays a nice drive off the last ball but can't get it past the fielder at mid-on.

Abbott gets the ball to come in sharply to Rahul, who misses the flick but collects the leg bye.

Gill takes a single on the leg side before Rahul goes after a wide delivery but is beaten. He slashes the last ball square on the off-side for a four.

India are 39/3 in 10 overs, with Gill on 20 and Rahul on nine. They need another 150 runs from 40 overs for victory at just under four per over.
