Toss: Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first against Gujarat Titans.

Speaking at the toss, DC skipper Rishabh Pant said, "We'll bowl first. Unknown to everyone about this wicket and we're batting strong, so we'd like to chase. Keeping dew in consideration, might see some dew later and might help our batters. Will have to play good cricket. But will take one match at a time. Death bowling has been our concern, but the bowlers are getting better with each match. That's the kind of momentum we're looking for. Same XI, but Warner misses because of injury and Sumit Kumar comes in."

Meanwhile GT skipper, Shubman Gill said, "We would've bowled first as well. Looks like a good wicket. There wasn't dew the past couple of days, so hopefully wouldn't be tonight. We've played really good cricket even in the losses we've had. (Home) Always great to play in Ahmedabad. Get magnificent support."
