MI 14-0 (1 ov) vs Delhi 257-4 | Scorecard

Pacer Lizaad Williams opens the bowling for DC. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are the two openers for MI, who need a quickfire start and make most of the Powerplay.

Kishan defends the first ball before he takes a single on the leg side.

Williams bowls a wide down the leg side before Rohit is hurried into the pull shot as he ends up top edging it over the wicketkeeper for two runs.

Rohit defends the fourth ball into the off-side before he uses his feet but can only tap it on the leg side for another dot ball.

The DC pacer has overstepped for a no-ball and concede a free hit. But Rohit can't make most of the free hit delivery as he is struck on the pads by the yorker.

The last ball is short and down the leg side and Rohit misses the pull and that is ruled five wides to spoil a good over.

Rohit gets the last ball in the gap through midwicket for two runs as the fielder puts in the slide.

Infact, the TV umpire has a look at the replays which shows that the fielder's leg had touch the boundary skirting when he stopped the ball and that is ruled a boundary.
