Eden Test Live! Panesar deflates India with quick wickets
December 06, 2012  09:26

MS Dhoni made clear Indias intention at the very outset, smashing the second ball of the day (by James Anderson) to the fence.

The home side was prepared to take the attack to the opposition.

Anderson did manage to square up Zaheer Khan (6) in his second over and got a thick edge. He was unfortunate though as Graeme Swann put down the chance at second slip.

The blemish cost the visitors nine runs to be precise, five wides followed by Zaheer rubbing it in with a boundary of the final ball of the over.

Zaheer didnt last long though, Monty Panesar trapping him leg before in the very next over.

The spinner returned to rattle Ishant Sharmas (0) timber for his fourth wicket.
