Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara wins the toss and elects to bat against Delhi Daredevils  in the 55th match of the Indian Premier League, in Hyderabad, on Thursday.

Delhi captain Virender Sehwag as usual is unfazed at losing the toss. "It doesn't matter because we were looking to bat second," he says.

The vistors make two changes to their team. They have left out Ross Taylor and Umesh Yadav because of slight niggles and replaced them with Andre Russell and Venugopal Rao.

For Deccan, JP Duminy replaces all-rounder Rusty Theron, while Manpreet Singh Gony and TP Sudhindra also make it to the team in place of Abhishek Jhunjhunwala and Akshath Reddy.

Deccan are out of the running as far as the play-offs is concerned having lost nine out of their 12 matches. Meanwhile, Delhi will be looking to reclaim top position in the standings with a victory over Deccan.
