Dhawan tries to sweep the first ball but misses and they get one leg bye. Nadeem then beats White who looks to play it on the off-side but he gets a single from the next ball.

Dhawan then gets the sweep off the middle but a brilliant stop from Russell gives them just one run.

Nadeem concedes just four runs as Deccan reach 64 for two at the halfway stage.
