Pujara batting on 92

As wickets continue to tumble around him, the young Cheteshwar Pujara has stood steady. His application and temperament has been exemplary as he closes in on yet another century.

He is currently batting on 92 from 223 balls with India's score on 203 for six after 71 overs.

India's spinning great Bishen Singh Bedi also seems to be enjoying Pujara's superb batting. "Pujara very special,splendid,stunning talent- needn't live in any shadow-very much master of own creation-thoroughbred through & through!!," he writes on Twitter.

Statistician Mohandas Menon writes on Twitter: "C Pujara now has batted 840 mins (14 hours) & 652 balls in this series."

Cricket commentator and writer Ayaz Menon also pays him rich tributes. "What a player Pujara is turning out to be! Superb technique, no nerves and tireless. Without his contribution India were sunk today..."
