India 1st inns: 47-1 (12 ovs)

Panesar starts with a full toss and Sehwag needs no second invitation as he lofts it over midwicket for a boundary. In the same over, Pujara caresses a full delivery through the covers for another four. Both the batsmen looking well settled at the crease now and already England might be feeling a bit of pressure.

In the next over Broad has an appeal for leg before wicket against Sehwag (11) turned down. The right-hander had clearly got an inside edge on to his pads as the ball darted in sharply.

Sehwag then looks to give Panesar but is beaten in the flight and gets an inside edge that drops goes on the off-side. He defends the rest of the over as Panesar bowls a maiden after giving nine runs in his previous over.

Anderson replaces Broad, who has bowled a good probing spell of five overs with the new ball.

Anderson nearly makes a breakthrough as Sehwag gets an inside edge which goes past the stumps for a boundary behind the keeper.

A few deliveries later, Sehwag plays with the angled bat and the thick outside edge flies past the second slip fielder for the second four of the over.

India are 47 for one after 12 overs. Sehwag has had some close shaves as his scores reaches 28 from 36 balls, while Pujara is on 14 from 35 balls.
