India 1st inns: 87-3 (28 ovs)

At lunch on the opening day, India are 87 for three in 28 overs.

England will delighted with their bowlers, especially Monty Panesar, in the first session as they managed to get three Indian wickets after being asked to bowl.

What a comeback by left-arm spinner Panesar getting the wickets of both Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar, who were both bowled.

Sehwag made 30 (43 balls) before he tried to play across the line but missed and was bowled. Tendulkar was beaten all ends up by a magnificent delivery from the left-arm spinner that spun right across him to bowl him.

The in-form Pujara though faced no problems as he eased his way to 38 from 86 balls after coming in to bat early following the dismissal of Gautam Gambhir (4) in the first over of the innings, lbw to pacer James Anderson.

Panesar bowled a superb spell of two for 29 in 11 overs to help England make a good start.
