India 1st inns: 303-6 (84 ovs) vs NZ 1st inns: 365

WICKET: Kohli lbw b Southee 103 (193b, 14x4, 1x6)

Southee continues to bowl it outside the off-stump and Kohli is happy to see them go through to the keeper.

But a rare error of judgement from Kohli causes his downfall. He offers no stroke to an incoming delivery from Southee that strikes him plumb in front of the wickets.

Kohli is out after a brilliant innings of 103 from 193 ball, which included 14 boundaries and a six. He added 122 runs in 33 overs for the sixth wicket with Dhoni to revive the Indian innings.

R Ashwin is off the mark with a couple to the midwicket region.
