England 132-2 (32 overs) vs India

Pietersen drives it down to long-on for one and two balls later Cook sweep it past the short fine leg fielder for a boundary.

But he is dismissed two balls later, leg before wicket to Ashwin after a good knock of 76 from 106 balls, having hit 13 boundaries.

That was an absolute shocker from umpire Sudhir Asnani. Replays confirm the ball was pitched way outside the leg stump and struck him in front of the leg stump.

You need DRS to eliminate such howlers. DRS or not, you cannot have such umpires.

A lucky breakthrough for Ashwin and India as England lose their second wicket after Cook and KP had put on 95 runs in 22.1 overs for the second wicket.
