Aus 354-6 (90 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

As expected, it was only a 10-minute delay as the umpires walk out followed by the players to start proceedings on Day 2 of the first Test. It is still overcast at Adelaide Oval but not immediate threat of rain.

The good news for Australia is that captain Michael Clarke has recovered from his injury sufficiently enough to resume batting. He had retired hurt on Day 1, with his score, and at the other end Steve Smith will start on 72.

Mohammed Shami, who had ended the first day with a wicket, will finish off the 90th over.

A tidy start from Shami, as Clarke plays out the over watchfully including swaying out of the way of a short ball.
