 India 115-2 (31 ovs) vs Aus 517-7d | Scorecard

Vijay plays another delightful flick through midwicket to complete his half-century, from 78 balls. A good innings from the Indian opener, who took his time to get started as he got off the mark after 19 balls but attacked off-spinner Nathan Lyon to rally India after the early dismissal of Dhawan.

Johnson hits Vijay on the shoulder with a short delivery which is clocked at 146kmph but he manages to duck under the next one which bounces a bit more.

The pacer then pitches it up and gets it move away, beating Vijay, who has a poke at it without any footwork.

A single each for the two batsmen off Harris as India continue their good work with the bat.

But disaster strikes just on the stroke of lunch for India. Johnson finally gets the edge to claim the wicket of Vijay caught behind after scoring 53 from 88 balls.

He added 81 runs for the second wicket with Pujara to help India bounce back after the early wicket of Dhawan.

Johnson planned that wicket superbly, bowling a few bouncers in the last over in between a couple of full ones. And a full delivery in the next over gets him the wicket as Vijay nicks the outswinger.

Virat Kohli is greeted by a short delivery which strikes him on the helmet as he looks to duck under it. All the Australian players rush to Kohli to check on him and Johnson is also concerned but the Indian captain is fine to continue.

He gets off the mark as he punches a full delivery down the ground for three runs before Pujara again mishits the pull shot for a single off the last ball.
