 India 422-9 (114 ovs) vs Aus 517-7d | Scorecard

Mohammed Shami gets off the mark with a boundary through the off-side off the first delivery he faces. He edges the next ball for three runs before Saha blocks the next two deliveries from Siddle.

Shami looks in a mood to attack. He comes down the track to Lyon and is nearly beaten as the inside edge saves him, for a couple. He then heaves the fifth ball on the leg side but ends up lobbing a simple high catch for Siddle, who puts down a regulation catch at deep midwicket and also gives away a boundary.

Shami then plays an awkward shot to a short ball from Siddle as he ducks under a short ball before he somehow manages to sweep it on the leg side and gets two runs in the process. Sanjay Manjrekar describes that strange-looking shot as 'sweep pull shot', while Sourav Ganguly says he cannot find a name for it.

Lyon strikes again as Saha is caught at first slip off an inside edge for 25.

The off-spinner gets his fourth wicket as Australia look set to get a sizeable lead on the fourth day.

Two balls later, Lyon bags his fifth wicket of the innings as Ishant is caught at short for a duck.

India, who resumed on 369 for five, have collapsed to 422 for nine having lost their last three wickets for 16 runs.
