TEA - DAY 2

Aus 121-3 (24.5 ovs) vs India 408
| Scorecard

Interesting field for Steve Smith against Ashwin with the square leg and midwicket fielders placed a bit deeper than normal. Smith using his feet against Ashwin but can't get a run in the 24th over which is Ashwin's second maiden.

Rogers steers Yadav through the off-side as Ishant, stationed at point, dives over the ball and then has to run to retrieve it and ends up giving away three runs.

Yadav gets the wicket of Rogers on the stroke of tea. The left-hander is caught down the leg side by Dhoni as he looks to turn it fine on the leg side.

Rogers walks back after a good innings of 55 from 79 balls, with the help of 10 fours.

At tea on Day 2, Australia are 121 for three in 24.5 overs with Smith unbeaten on six.

India's pacers bowled with a lot of speed and aggression. Yadav, playing his first Test after a long wait of two years, was the most impressive as he claimed two for 35 in 6.5 overs, while Ashwin took one for five in four overs in another good spell in his comeback game.

Aaron and Ishant also bowled with good pace but went for a lot of runs as Dhoni employed attacking fields and looked to attack and try for wickets at every opportunity.
