Aus 221-4 (52 ovs) vs India 408
| Scorecard

The umpires have stopped play because of bad light as it has got quite overcast at the Gabba and a storm expected to hit the venue soon.

The two umpires had a chat with India captain Dhoni, before they decide to suspend play.

The Indian team in a huddle before they walk back, all smiling and happy as they make their way to the dressing room.

Australia are 221 for four in 52 overs, still trailing India by 187 runs, who posted 408 in their first innings.

Smith continues his good recent run as he stroked 65 from 88 balls, while Mitchell Marsh was unbeaten on seven.

Yadav made a good comeback to Test cricket, claiming three for 48 and Ashwin took one for 66.

So we have a confirmation that play has been called off early which means nine overs have been lost due to bad light.

India would be hoping to take a few wickets early on Day 3 and try to grab a sizeable first innings lead.
