India 1st inns: 107-2 (32 ovs) vs Eng | Scorecard

The players walk back on to the field for the resumption of play in the post-lunch session.

Broad to resume proceedings in the second session with England desperate for a few quick wickets to check India's good progress in the morning session when they made 106 for one in 30 overs with Vijay hitting a half-century.

Vijay is beaten outside the off-stump in that over as the ball shapes in slightly but he manages to easily negotiate the rest of the over.

Anderson provides the breakthrough immediately after the lunch break with the crucial wicket of Pujara. The slower delivery foxes Pujara, who is too early into the push and ends up lobbing it on the leg side where Bell takes a stunning catch diving full length to his right.

An opportunity wasted by Pujara as he falls for 38, having hit seven fours in 69 balls, after putting on 73 runs for the second wicket with Vijay.

New batsman Virat Kohli is off the mark with a quick single on the off-side.
