India 217-2 (40 ovs) vs Pak | LIVE Scorecard

Riaz drops short and Raina, who seems to be waiting for it, pulls it over midwicket for a four. The next is pulled again but only for a single to deep square leg.

Kohli is beaten by the incoming delivery and he is lucky that it didn't take the inside edge before he takes a single from the last ball.

Irfan drifts down the leg side as Kohli helps it round the corner for a four to move into the 90s. But he manages to pull back things with just three runs from the rest of the over.

Interestingly, India not taking any undue risks in the Batting Powerplay so far. Maybe preserving their wickets to go all out in the final few overs.

Riaz to bowl the final over of the Powerplay as Pakistan decide against using spin. Raina takes a single from the first ball before Kohli does the same two balls later.

Raina then plays a controlled pull shot all along the ground to fine leg for a single and Kohli retains strike with a single from the last ball.

India managed just 25 runs from the five overs of Batting Powerplay to reach 217 for two in 40 overs.

Kohli is set for another century, having made 94 from 113 balls and Raina is on 30 from 31 balls.

India need a flurry of boundaries in the last 10 overs to get past the 300-run mark. They were unusually quite defensive in the Powerplay, which has cost them a bit of momentum.
