Delhi buy Sri Lankan Mathews for Rs. 7.5 crore

Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews is the next player up for grabs at an opening bid of Rs. 1.5 crore.

Mumbai Indians start off the bidding for the Sri Lankan all-rounder with Delhi Daredevils also entering the race with the bid soon doubling up to Rs. 3 crore for the Mukesh Ambani-owned franchise.

Mumbai Indians up the bid to Rs. 4 crore but Delhi in mood to relent and up it to 4.2 crore.

RCB enter the fray mid-way and make a fresh bid at Rs. 4.5 crore but Delhi won't give up just yet as the bid crosses the Rs. 5 crore and soon it has touched the 6 crore mark.

Delhi in pole position as they bid an astonishing 7.5 crore forcing RCB to withdraw.
