Delhi Daredevils buy Shreyas Iyer for 2.6 crore

The first set of uncapped players will come up and we will have a look at the batsmen now:

Mumbai player Shreyas Iyer with a base price of Rs. 10 lakh is the first name drawn. Iyer has been in good form for Mumbai this year in Ranji Trophy and not surprising Mumbai Indians and Kolkata go for the player with quick bids.

After a few quick bids, KKR raise the bid to Rs. 1 crore but Mumbai don't want to let go off their local lad and post a 1.1 crore bid before KKR come in back straightaway with 1.2 crore.

This bid is going very strong at 1.5 crore after having started at a modest Rs. 10 lakh.

Delhi enter the fray with a fresh bid of 1.9 crore before KKR make it 2 crore.

The bidding frenzy continues as Delhi take it up to 2.6 crore sending KKR camp into some serious thinking.

KKR back out which means Delhi bag Iyer for a whopping 2.6 crore
