Delhi Daredevils buy Yuvraj for a record Rs. 16 crores

India's former batsman Yuvraj Singh is up for grabs as he starts with a base price of Rs. 2 crore.

A three-way battle for the left-hander as Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore all enter the race.

Delhi jump into the race at Rs. 4 crore but Dravid in the Rajasthan camp not willing to give up.

Delhi in pole position at Rs. 5 crore before RCB make a comeback at 5.5 crore and the bid keeps zooming up.

This is turning out to be a thrilling battle to sign up Yuvraj as the bids continue to roll with Delhi making a bid of Rs. 10 crore and RCB continue to double their bid.

If you remmeber, Yuvraj was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore last year for Rs 14 crore.

And his price has again reached the 14-crore mark with both Delhi and RCB not willing to move an inch.

Delhi continue the frenzy with a massive bid of Rs. 15 crores.

Vijay Mallya and his team in a long discussion on whether they should up the bid to sign up Yuvraj or let him go. A long delay as RCB continue to discuss forcing auctioner Richard Madley to briefly pause proceedings.

Mallya into the fray with Rs. 15.5 crores but Delhi in no mood to halt as they up the bid to Rs. 16 crores.

And RCB pull out of the race!
