SA 147-3 (30 ovs) vs WI | Scorecard

Part-timer Chris Gayle comes into the attack, replacing Benn, who bowled seven overs for 37 runs.

He looks to bowl it full and flat but South Africa are able to get eight runs from the over also including a wide.

Part-time spinners from both ends now as Samuels comes on from the other end. Du Plessis paddles one over the keeper and two balls later he lofts a short ball over the covers for a four as South Africa continue to lift the tempo.

Gayle provides the breakthrough as du Plessis gets an edge trying to smash it through the off-side as wicketkeeper Ramdin completes a sharp catch.

Du Plessis walks back after a good innings of 62 from 70 balls, having added 127 runs for the second wicket with Amla to revive South Africa after an early wicket.

Rilee Rossouw gets off the mark with a single before Gayle gets another wicket.

Amla is trapped leg before wicket off the very next delivery after a good innings of 65 from 88 balls. Amla went back to turn it on the leg side but missed the ball and was struck right in front of the stumps.

Captain AB de Villiers gets off the mark with a single as South Africa reach 147 for three in 30 overs.
