South Africa win toss, elect to bat vs WI

Welcome to the coverage of the 19th match of the ICC World Cup match between South Africa and West Indies in Sydney, on Friday.

South Africa captain AB de Villiers has won the toss and elected to bat.

JP Duminy misses out because of injury and his place in the team is taken by Rilee Russouw. Pacer Kyle Abbott replaces Vernon Philander, while Farhaan Behardien comes in for Wayne Parnell as South Africa make a few changes following the big defeat to India.

Meanwhile, Chris Gayle is ruled fit for West Indies despite an injury cloud coming into the match. Spinner Sulieman Benn, who has recovered from his injury, replaces Nikita Miller.
