Tahir's double strike leaves Windies in a mess
February 27, 2015  14:19
 WI 53-5 (12 ovs) vs SA 408-5 | Scorecard

Leg-spinner Imran Tahir comes into the attack and he strikes with his very first delivery. Smith is caught at long-on after scoring 31 courtesy of a brilliant catch from David Miller, who ran to his left and had to time his jump to perfection.

In the same over, Tahir traps Lendl Simmons leg before wicket with the slider that is quicker and goes on straight.

West Indies are reeling on 53 for five in 12 overs, having lost three wickets in the space of seven deliveries.

Replays and the snicko show that Simmons had got an inside edge on that. Wonder why the West Indies didn't take the review. Have they given up already?

This could turn out to be an embarrassing outing for the West Indies if the lower order fails to contribute.
