Dhawan hits half-century, India off to a good start

India 84-0 (20 ovs) vs B'desh | Scorecard

Taijul drops short as Dhawan goes back and cuts it through the point region for a boundary. He comes down the track to the next ball and turns it on the leg side for a single as seven come from the over.

The most impressive part of Dhawan's batting has been his eagerness to use his feet against the Bangladesh spinners.

Vijay has been content to bide his time despite his partner Dhawan going in full flow and hitting boundaries at regular intervals.

After 20 overs, India are comfortably placed on 84 for no loss with Dhawan on 65 from 64 balls and Vijay on 19 from 56 balls.

Except for Shahid creating a few problems with the new ball, India's openers have looked completely at ease so far.
