Litton on the charge as he steers a wide ball from Yadav behind point for a four and flicks the next ball through square leg for the same result.

In the next over, he uses the sweep to good effect, hitting Ashwin through square leg for a four. Ashwin nearly does him with one that spins big as Litton looks to drive through the covers but gets an inside edge which misses the stumps and goes behind the wicket for another boundary.

Litton looks in a hurry as he races to 38 from 31 balls, having hit seven fours and a six.

Meanwhile, Ashwin continues his wicket ways as Hom is caught at leg slip for nine, he has good figures of four for 72 in 21.2 overs.

Bangladesh have been reduced to 219 for seven in 57.2 overs in their first innings as the umpires take the tea break at the fall of that wicket.
