- Scorecard

Left-arm pacer Rahat Ali comes into the attack in place of Sohail, who bowled three overs for 23 runs in his first spell.

Du Plessis continues South Africa's positive start as he pulls a short ball over the leg side for a six and despatches the last ball for a four to get 10 runs from the over.

With seamers going for runs with the new ball, Misbah is forced to introduce spin early in the form of leg-spinner Shahid Afridi. Amla flicks the third ball for a couple before he crashes the fifth through the off-side for a four as the flow of runs continue.

Rahat makes the crucial breakthrough with the wicket of du Plessis, who looks to steer it to thirdman, but gets an edge and is caught behind for 27, after putting on 67 runs for the second wicket with Amla.

South Africa promote the in-form Rilee Rossouw to No. 4 with AB de Villiers holding himself back.

South Africa are 67 for two in 10 overs, with Amla batting positively on 38 from 26 balls. They still need another 165 runs in 37 overs for victory at an asking rate of 4.45.
