Zim 239-5 (42 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Taylor also becomes the first Zimbabwe batsman to tally more than 400 runs in a World Cup, going past Neil Johnson's record of 367 runs in the 1999 edition of the tournament.

Mohit ends Taylor's wonderful innings with a slower ball as the right-hander lobs a simple catch to the fielder at mid-on.

Taylor walks back after a splendid knock of 138 from 110 balls, having hit 15 four and five sixes. He walks back to a standing ovation from the crowd and also gets a handshake from the Indians players as he makes his way back!

He could not have made a better exit to international cricket. His innings has given Zimbabwe with a chance of posting a total of around the 300-run mark and also a chance of upsetting the fancied Indians.

Taylor is only 29 and has opted to retire from international cricket to represent Nottinghamshire in English county cricket in all formats.
