SA 130-5 (70 ovs); Target: 310 | Scorecard

Ishant comes into the attack as Ashwin gets a break. He beats Amla with a full delivery which comes in sharply and strikes the right-hander on the pads but the LBW appeal is turned down and rightly so because the ball was heading down the leg side.

The pitch is playing some tricks for fast bowler Ishant as one spits off length and hits Faf on the gloves, who does well to fend it on the off-side for one. Two balls later, he gets one to come in sharply as Faf is beaten comprehensively but the ball misses the stumps too as Ishant also tries the trick of bowling off-cutters.

Mishra, who beat the edge of the bat a few times for both batsmen, finally finds some luck.

Amla comes forward to defend but gets an edge which is neatly held by Kohli at point.

He walks back after a gusty innings of 39, he was at the crease for 219 minutes, facing 167 balls, hitting two fours. He was involved in a gritty stand of 72 runs from 281 balls in 173 minutes for the fifth wicket to lead a great fight back from South Africa.

They still have a lot of work to do, with another 180 runs needed for victory.
