Rabada starts his third over with a quick bouncer to Dhawan, who manages to sway out of the way. He mixes his length well for the rest of the over and even bowls a sharp yorker which Dhawan defends for the first maiden of the innings.

Steyn is taken off after being hit for three fours in the previous over by Rahane. Morne Morkel comes into the attack and he starts with a wide as Rahane goes after it but misses out. Two balls later he steers it to thirdman for a single and Dhawan takes a leg bye before Morkel bowls another wide to concede four runs in his first over.

Rabada continues to keep Dhawan tied up as he bowls another three dot balls in a row to make it 13 balls in a row not scored against him.

Dhawan breaks the shackles as he makes room and slaps it through the off-side for a four before taking one from the next.
