Three balls later he goes after a wide one and is beaten but drives the next in some style straight down the ground for a four. Mohit drops the last ball short as Amla cracks a powerful square cut for another four as Mohit goes for 10 runs in his first over.

A single each to the two batsmen in the next over before de Kock pulls a short ball through square leg for a four.

India's pacers bowling short as Amla pulls it through midwicket for a four. That also brings up his 6000 runs in ODIs in just 123 innings, the fastest to achieve the landmark.

He then overpitches as Amla punches it straight back past the bowler for a four. Mohit struggling to get it right as he bowls another loose delivery which Amla crashes through the off-side for another four.

But against the run of play, Mohit gets the key wicket of Amla, who goes after one outside the off-stump but gets an edge and is caught behind.

Amla walks back after a quickfire 23 from 13 balls as South Africa are reduced to 33 for one in four overs.
