TEA- DAY 2

India 259-2 (91 ovs) vs WI 196 | Scorecard

Kohli slaps a wide full delivery from Brathwaite in the gap through the covers for a beautiful boundary. A single followed by two runs to Rahul through the covers and another single makes it nine runs from the over for India off the part-time spinner.

In the next over, Rahul steals a quick single to bring up his 150, from 289 balls, in the 91st over. A wonderful innings from the youngster, who didn't throw his wicket away after getting to the century and was willing to grind it out and put in the hard yard to get the runs.

At tea on Day 2, India have reached 259 for two in 91 overs, for a lead of 63 runs. They scored 74 runs from 28 overs in the post-tea session while losing the wicket of Pujara, who played a subdued innings of 46 from 159 balls.

Rahul was instrumental in driving India forward despite the slow scoring rate as he made 150 not out from 289 balls, having hit 13 fours and three sixes.

Kohli also was content to play it safe as he made 21 from 51 balls with the duo already putting on 51 runs for the third wicket.
