The onus will now be on Rahane to keep the scoreboard and also ensure that he completes his century before India start thinking about the declaration.

He taps Cummins through the off-side for a single off the last ball to keep strike. The field is well spread out for Rahane as he drives Chase to deep point but turns down the single before he takes one to long-off from the fourth ball.

Yadav makes his intentions clear as he takes a step or two before smashing a full delivery straight down past mid-off for a four to get off the mark.

India manage to get three singles from the 167th over bowled by Cummins with Rahane taking one from the last ball to keep strike.

The field is spread around for Rahane against Chase for the first four balls before they all come in to stop the single. He comes down and smashes the first ball over the off-side for a six to take his score into the 90s and defends the last ball.

Spin from both ends as part-timer Kraigg Brathwaite comes into the attack. Yadav makes most as he slog sweeps the off-spinner over midwicket for a four before that shot forces the West Indies to again spread their field for the No. 10 batsman.

Two singles from the last ball as Rahane ensures he keeps the strike and take his score to 96.

He brings up his century in streaky fashion, getting an edge off Chase which goes past the fielder at slip for a boundary. The Mumbai batsman took 231 balls to get to his third century in four innings as India continued to build their lead.

Yadav goes after Chase as he looks to sweep but gets a top edge which goes fine on the leg side for a four. He smashes the next ball straight to the fielder at midwicket but the fielder lets it go through his hands to concede another boundary.
