England  71-0 (20 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Bhuvi gets a break after a long first spell of eight overs for 33 runs as he makes way for Umesh.

Two singles from the first four balls before Jennings plays a cracking drive through the covers for a four as Umesh bowls a wide half-volley and keeps strike with a single from the last ball. In the next over, Jennings plays Ashwin through the leg side twice in the space of three balls for a couple before he keeps the strike again with one from the last ball.

Yadav fails to learn from his mistake as he overpitches again and Jennings helps himself to another four through the off-side and again keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Ashwin gets one to spin right across who comes forward to defend but sees the ball spin past the edge of the bat and also the stumps as wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel fails to collect it.

England have reached 71 for no loss in 20 overs with debutant Jennings unbeaten on a fluent 45 from 76 balls, having hit six fours, while Cook is content to play second fiddle on 25 from 44 balls.
