England 12-1 (5 ovs) & 400 vs India 631 | Scorecard

The worst possible start for England with the bat as they lose opener Keaton Jennings in the first over of the innings.

He is trapped leg before wicket off the second ball by Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a duck.

A full delivery strikes him on the backfoot as umpire Marais Erasmus gives him leg before wicket and the young opener after consultation with captain Cook decides not to take the DRS.

Interestingly, the Hawkeye shows that the ball would have clipped the outside half of leg stump which means that England would have lost the DRS review based on umpire's call factor.

Joe Root manages to see off the remaining three deliveries of the over.

Good stuff from the two Indian pacers, Bhuvneshwar and Umesh Yadav, as they bowl a good testing spell to both Cook and Root, not allowing them to get away with easy runs.
